weatherman
Weather man
I'm looking at the sky
wondering if yours is blue
because at night
the stars in mine, are in yours too
It's a beautiful day here
and you're not even home
Guess the weather man
don't know that I'm alone
Cuz if he did it would be raining
the ground just like my bed
I don't know how you're feeling
this is only in my head.
Remember our fireworks
they're still in our hometown
But the man with the matches
he don't know you're not around
Cuz if he did he'd start to cry
he'd light one for the last time
the night would never be the same
no more colors in my sky
I'm looking at myself
wondering if you are down
because I know
you can't hear this sound
the weatherman don't know,
Cuz if he did it would be raining
the ground just like my bed
I don't know how you're feeling
this is only in my head.
the man with the matches
he'll start to cry
he'd light one for the last time
the night would never be the same
no more colors in my sky
no more colors in my sky
no more colors in my life
I'm looking at the sky
wondering if you're looking too
because at night
my stars can reach you.
